Development & Peace Fall Campaign

Development & Peace is launching its Fall Campaign with the theme Together We Hold the Future In Our Hands. The objective of this campaign is to focus on the issue of Ecological Justice

This year’s theme of Ecological Justice will allow us to make the connection between ecological issues, agriculture production and the exploitation of natural resources. The countries most affected by ecological injustice are the least responsible for the destruction of the environment. The western way of life must become more ecologically sustainable. We are called to be in solidarity with the Global South who want to improve their standard of living by sharing their knowledge and technical resources which is not based on consumption and economic growth no matter the cost.

“In solidarity with Development & Peace and the people of the global south we acknowledge the sacredness of the earth and our responsibility to protect and cherish the earth’s ecological diversity. We pray to the Lord”

Lakeview Memorial Gardens
In the news we hear of the disrespect shown towards our Veterans. Join us on October 16th at 2pm for our 2nd annual visit to St. Willibrord Gardens of Lakeview/Pointe Claire and the nearby Field of Honour. We can show our appreciation and respect for our Veterans and the deceased members of our families. Please sign the register at the rear of the Church.
