Coming Soon: New Translation of Roman Missal
What does this mean for my parish? In these two months before the revised translation is implemented, parishes will have to do a few things. They will have to replace liturgical books used by the priests and parishioners. Priests will practice, on their own, proclaiming the new texts and will prepare homilies to deepen appreciation for the Liturgy. The music ministers and the all the faithful will learn new musical settings for the parts of the Mass (such as the Gloria and the Sanctus). Pew cards will be available to help us learn the new responses. Parishes may also use this opportunity to undertake a reexamination of their liturgical practices.
How can I prepare?
There are many ways in which you can prepare for the changes in the Mass:
• Make a conscious effort to participate more fully in the Mass each Sunday.
• Take advantage of any special teaching session offered by your parish or diocese.
• Read the new texts of the people’s part of the mass.
• Visit the Roman Missal Web site: (www.usccb.org/romanmissal)
• Pray for a renewal of love for the Liturgy in your parish and church.

CND Signing Book
Last Sunday we had such a lovely time honouring our CND Sisters for their many years of service. For those who were unable to attend or did not have a chance to sign the “Guest book” , it will be placed at the Marguerite Bourgeoys
Window where you will have an opportunity to do so.
Gather Hymn Books
Want to Honour a loved one?
We still have some gather books that can be dedicated to family or friends. If you’re interested in doing so, please call Yvonne for more information.
In the coming weeks, we will be starting up our bi-weekly book club again. Please call the office for more information.
Lakeview Memorial Garden’s
In 2010, Lakeview Memorial Garden’s donated the Bronze Commemorative Plaque marking the 75th Anniversary of the Parish which can be seen outside the front doors of the church. This was in response to the theft of the original plaque. Furthermore, they designated an area on their site as “St. Willibrord Garden’s”. In the coming weeks, will be making our annual pilgrimage to the site, to pray for the deceased members of our families, wherever they may be at rest, and also to remember the war veterans who are buried in the adjacent “Field of Honour”.
