CONFESSIONS will be heard 15 minutes before each Mass ~ weekdays and weekends.

Baptisms will take place on the fourth Sunday of the month at 12:00 noon. Parents wishing to have their child baptized are asked to contact the Parish Office, 514-769-9678, for details.
A meeting with Parents and Godparents is a pre-requisite.

Please note: Godparents must be baptized and confirmed in the Catholic Faith to be eligible to serve as sponsors.

Isla, (pronounced Eye-lah), Rachel Marie Lambert born Saturday April 23rd at Lasalle General Hospital to loving parents Christina Parsons and Sylvain Lambert. As you know Christina is a member of our Parish Council and also a lector. Big Brother David is delighted with his new role! Congratulations and Blessings!

Congratulations to Robin Hunt, Patrick Lau, and Julie Lapointe, as we welcome them into the Catholic community. They were confirmed last Saturday, April 23rd at our Easter Vigil. We extend a great big thank-you to everyone who helped with their preparation. Nathan Gibbard, from the Newman Centre, Dorothy Ormsby and Fr. Stephen Otvos were the primary teachers of these candidates. Alleluia!

Evening of Prayer for Vocations to the Priesthood
Will be held on Wednesday May 4th at St. John Brébeuf Parish at 7:30pm. This evening’s purpose is to help build a culture of vocations and instil vocational openness and awareness. Our Faith First confirmation class has been invited as are all the parishioners. Our presence will help support Fr. Stephen Otvos who is the Diocesan Vocations Director.

Annual Pilgrimage
Our annual Mass at Notre-Dame de Bon Secours is scheduled for Wednesday May 18th at 7:00pm. Should you be requiring transportation please call the office and we will make arrangements.

Our Food Pantry
We will be doing a major overhaul of our food pantry, within the coming months in order to make the area more functional. We will still be accepting food donations for the soup kitchen and emergencies. Thank-you!

Feast of Divine Mercy
Sunday May 1st is the Feast Day of the Divine Mercy. There will be a celebration beginning with confession and adoration at 2:00pm followed by recitation of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy at 3pm, the Way of the Cross and at 5pm a bilingual Mass celebrated by Fr. McKee at Mary Queen of Peace Church, 11075 boul. Gouin West, Pierrefond.

(On Sunday April 30th 2000, Pope John Paul II celebrated Mass for the canonization of Sr. Faustina Kowalska, known as the apostle of Divine Mercy ).

This year Pope John Paul II is to be beatified on the feast day of the Divine Mercy. There will be a Mass presided by Jean-Claude Cardinal Turcotte at Mary Queen of the World Cathedral at 5pm.
