Feast of the Holy Family and a Christmas Blessing!
“This is Christmas! A historic event and a Mystery of Love that for two thousand years has moved the hearts and minds of people everywhere. It is the day that shines ‘a great light’ which is Christ, the gift of peace”. To recognize and welcome this light, we need faith and humility; the humility of Mary and Joseph who believed in the word of God spoken to them; Mary and Joseph who were the first to behold the Christ child over the poverty of the manger. They were the first to experience and adore the presence of God in our world. A light has come into the world and “darkness has not overcome it”.(Jn1.5) Christ Jesus, born of the Virgin Mary in the poverty of a stable, in the presence of Joseph, illuminates our lives.
We are called to marvel at God’s loving care for us, as he sends Jesus our light to enter our world through the intimacy of a family. The Holy Family, in their humble life reveals to us that all families and all people are meant to be blessed with His divine presence. May God bless all of you and all your families.

Thank-you!
A big thank you to Angele La Fleche and her team of amazing people who came out and accomplished another successful Christmas Basket drive. With 270 families reached, we must also thank everyone who organized food & toy drives at their work, school or social clubs. To our parishioners far and wide a huge thank you for your support. We are truly blessed to have such great people share with us in our ministry to the community.

The Christmas Pageant
Thanks to Marie La Fleche, Dan Ormsby and all the children who so beautifully re-created the Christmas Story.

Christmas Music
Thank you to Tom Battcock, Paul La Fontaine and our choir for their gift of music at the Christmas Eve masses. We also wish to thank Johanne Patry and Sarah Fraser for also sharing their gifts on Christmas Day.

A Great Big Thank You
Thanks to Chris and Layla Ramdhanie, Lorraine Molloy, Lily Cavanagh and all their workers and volunteers for helping to make the church “sparkle and shine.” The atmosphere was inspiring.
