Gaudete Sunday
Being the third Sunday in the advent season when we light the rose candle on the Advent wreath, The Latin Gaudete is translated as Rejoice, the first word of the entrance antiphon of this day's Mass: ‘Rejoice in the Lord always; again I say rejoice! The Lord is near.’ The third Sunday of Advent emphasizes the joyous anticipation of the Lord's coming.

Thank-you for your support
Thanks to everyone who made this year’s Christmas Basket Fundraiser – SPAG-I-OKE, a success. All the proceeds from ticket sales, raffles and the bar were donated to the Fund! Thanks to Tony Di Lallo and his crew for an enjoyable evening!

Our Christmas Baskets
We are still looking for volunteers to help us with this year’s endeavor. From packaging to delivery we need your help! Don’t have time? Why not donate non perishable food items, toiletries, or small gifts for children. Call the office for more info: 514-769-9678

Worldwide Candle Lighting
When a child dies, the holidays become a time of painful remembrance rather than a time of celebration. December 12th marks a day where families around the globe light candles in memory of all children who have died. Everyone is invited to join in this event by lighting a candle at 7:00pm for one hour. To learn more please visit the website compassionatefriends.org.
