HEALTH CONCERN
In view of the current H1N1 Flu outbreak, the
Archdiocese has issued a directive stating that Holy
Communion will now be distributed only under one
species (i.e. the Host). As well, please refrain from
shaking hands with other parishioners during the Sign
of Peace – a simple gesture of acknowledgment of your
fellow parishioners is sufficient. It would also be prudent
to avoid using the Holy Water font in church.

Children’s Faith Formation
Program

Parents with children whom they want to be formed within
the Catholic Faith, are invited to register Sunday after Mass.
Marie Lafleche will be on hand to explain the content of the
Program which is held on Saturday morning at 9.00 a.m.

YEAR OF THE PRIEST
In keeping with the ongoing celebration
of the Year of the Priest, the following
words are from St. John Chrysostom:
“For the soul of the Priest ought to be purer
than the very sunbeams, in order that
the Holy Spirit may not leave him
desolate, in order that he may be able to
say: Now I live and yet no longer I, but
Christ lives in me”.

Let us keep our clergy in prayer during this
special year.

Remember to pick up your copy of the prayer
card for the Year of the Priest available in the
back of the church.
