WHITE ELEPHANT SALE
Once again this Saturday’s sale was a great success thanks to our tireless Volunteers who work so hard sorting the various items, setting up the tables, serving at the Snack Bar and cleaning up afterwards. This event, as with our Flea Markets, is sheer profit thanks to the donations received and the volunteer help of so many of our friends. These two events are the mainstay of our revenue and on behalf of the Wardens and myself, I extend sincere thanks to all who participate in making these monthly events so financially beneficial to the Parish.
Father Stephen.

THE ANNUAL DIOCESAN COLLECTION
This is the last weekend to make a
donation to the Cardinal’s campaign.
The money raised is earmarked for
the Catholic education of children,
help for the elderly, material
assistance for the needy or
Sacramental celebrations. More than
200 Parishes of the Diocese,
approximately 50 of which are
located in low-income areas, benefit
from this much-needed project.
Envelopes are available at the back
of the Church. As always, thank you
for your generosity.

YEAR OF THE PRIEST
"Your role is to tell us how to pray, how to love, how to hope. Your role is to show us the tenderness of Christ, his compassion,
and his mercy. That is what will protect the Church. This is what will bring about its rebirth. Nothing else will. Not your learning, nor your genius. No, they do not affect it. Only God's truth as it comes through you, after you yourself have agonized over it, prayed over it, gone into the darkness of
faith and come out with joy. That will teach us, that will protect the Church; and that alone. (Catherine de Hueck Doherty to Priests in her book 'Dear Father.')
