To all the Volunteers who worked tirelessly over the past week to make the events of Holy Week so meaningful. To those who set up the altar(s), placed flowers, arranged the vestments, coordinated the Lectors, prepared the Liturgy, provided the music (both organ & choir), served as Readers, prepared the Children in their understanding of the week’s events, helped with the Walk of Mercy and all the behind-the-scenes workers who played such an important role in ensuring that our Easter celebration was meaningful and festive, my sincere thanks. As well, I would like to thank all those Parishioners who supported the events of Holy Week by their attendance at the various services ~ your participation was truly appreciated! Finally, a sincere Thank You for your generosity in the various Holy Week collections – your donations to the Parish, the Montreal Diocese and the Churches in the Holy Land are gratefully acknowledged.

THANK YOU to Mrs. Janie Anderson,
a true friend of St.Willibrord’s
who is currently a member of St. Luke’s Parish in Dollard des Ormeaux
and has generously donated her time and talent to refurbish the Directory of Former Pastors that graces the back wall of the Church. Mrs. Anderson’s gift of beautiful calligraphy is very much appreciated and will long be enjoyed by the Parishioners and visitors to St.Willibrord’s. Thank you, Mrs. Anderson, for graciously sharing your talent with us!
YEAR OF THE PRIEST
During this sacred weekend of Lent
in the Year of the Priest, let us keep
in mind the words of St. John Eudes:
“The greatest effect of God's mercy,
the most precious grace He bestows
upon Mankind, is to send worthy Priests,
men after His own heart, seeking only His
glory and the salvation of souls.”
Let us pray for our Clergy this Easter weekend that they may also experience
the joy of the season.
