Development & peace
“share lent campaign”
Lent begins our journey to resurrection. It is a time when we strive to live a true Christian life. It is a time for sacrifice and positive action. It is a time to stand in solidarity with the poor and oppressed. It is a time to put God’s will in the forefront. This Lent let us partner with Development and Peace to work for the reign of God. Publicity material and donation envelopes will be available at the back of the Church during the coming weeks.
St. Patrick Square (6767 Cote St. Luc Road) is holding an Open House this Sunday, February 28th between 2.00-4.00 p.m.

ADULT CATECHIST EVENINGTuesday, March 2nd following the 7.30 p.m. Mass. This week’s theme: Sacrament of Healing, Confession and Anointing of the Sick. Everyone welcome!
Lent is more than a season of fasting –
it can also be a joyous season of
feasting. The following are more
excerpts from the writings of William Arthur Ward (American author,
Teacher and Pastor: 1921-94):
~ Fast from unrelenting pressure;
Feast on unceasing prayer.
~Fast from hostility;
Feast on non-resistance.
~Fast from bitterness;
Feast on forgiveness.
~Fast from self-concern;
Feast on compassion for others.
YEAR OF THE PRIEST
In keeping with the ongoing celebration
of the Year of the Priest, a Friday Morning
Prayer Group gathers during Adoration
and prays for Priests before the Blessed Sacrament.
This is an excellent way to lend your support
to our Clergy during this special year, particularly during the Lenten Season.
Everyone is welcome to attend following
the 8.00 a.m. Mass to join in prayerful
meditation for our Priests.
