CONFESSIONS will be heard 15 minutes before
each Mass ~ weekdays, as well as on weekends.
Baptisms will take place on the fourth Sunday of the month at 12.00 noon. Parents wishing to have their child baptized are asked to contact the Parish Office at, 514-769-9678.
A meeting with Parents and Godparents* is a pre-requisite. *Please note: Godparents must be baptized and confirmed in the Catholic Faith to be eligible to serve as sponsors.
Sunday June 9 – “Sunday Fun-day”
After the 10:30am Mass, dedication of the
100th Anniversary plaque, generously donated by Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
After which, there will be a family day including lunch, treats, activities and a special guest.
Please check out our Kiosk at the sidewalk sale on Wellington St. An opportunity to purchase your raffle tickets for the Fall Fair, from our dedicated volunteers Joe Brisindi and Altrice Weekes.

Saturday June 8 – 5pm Mass
We are looking for volunteers* to participate in the “Hopping Procession” during our 100th Anniversary Mass which will be celebrated by
Archbishop Christian Lépine
and other visiting celebrants.
This procession is an ancient tradition that is done in honour of St. Willibrord and was brought here to Verdun by a group of parishioners who travelled to Echternach, Luxembourg while on pilgrimage in 1998.

Our annual Pilgrimage to
Notre-Dame de Bon Secours
is scheduled for Wednesday May 29th at 7:00pm. Some are planning to walk to Bon Secours, leaving the rectory at 4:30pm, stopping to enjoy a light supper in Old Montreal before the mass. Please call the office for more details.
*Note that there will be no devotions or Mass here that evening.
Diocesan Celebration of Corpus Christi
Thursday May 30, 2013
Will begin with a Solemn Mass at
Notre-Dame Basilica* at 7:30pm.
Afterwards, everyone will be invited to join the candlelight Eucharistic procession to
St. Patrick’s Basilica for
Solemn Benediction. Doors of Notre Dame Basilica will be open at 6:30pm. Priest will be available for confessions.
*Notre-Dame Basilica is accessible by Metro

Flea Market – Saturday June 1st
Next Saturday will be our monthly flea market. An opportunity to find bargains, donate some of your gently used items, volunteer a few hours of your time or even just enjoy lunch. All proceeds help to pay the parish bills. An enjoyable time for all!
