A sage once said, “Peace begins in the silence of one’s heart.” Consider exploring the silence of your family’s heart. Turn off the TV and radio and loud lights. Light only a candle and gather around it, holding hands, for a moment in silence. See what happens. Peace be with you.
First Communion – May 12th
Next Sunday, Mother’s Day, 10 of our young parishioners will receive communion for the first time.
This Sunday morning, this same group, experienced their first
Sacrament of Reconciliation.
Please continue to pray for them and their families.
It is with great pleasure that we introduce Jonathan Trabajada to our Board of Wardens. We thank Jonathan for offering to serve his parish in this way.
Thank-you – Flea Market
Once again, after a lot of hard work, the parish is thankful for the funds generated by the sale. All extra monies plus the collections help to keep our parish a float.
It is with regret that we announce the departure of Christendath Ramdhanie. Due to budgetary cutbacks Fr Otvos and the wardens made the difficult decision to no longer have a custodian. Chris has been a longtime employee who has served the parish for 25 years often going beyond his duty to be available to the needs of the parish community. We wish Chris & Leyla well in their future projects and we know that many will miss them.
“May God’s blessing go with Chris and Leyla!”
The collection for April 27-28 was 1068.00
